  • Competitive Tennis (e.g. Team Tennis and Tournaments)

  • Clinics (from beginner to advanced)

Our program has three main objectives:

  • To promote friendly and competitive play

  • To encourage sportsmanship and mutual respect

  • To improve a player's skills and knowledge of the game

Please Note: With the exception of Beginner Clinics and Girls Night Out*, players new to AWA tennis will need an Assessment before joining any activity so that we can place you in the most appropriate level. Members must reassess every 2 years to keep current.

Walking

Our walks and hikes range from urban to jungle trails, and flat loops to hilly hikes. Monday and Thursday walks and hikes range from 10-15 km in 2 to 2.5 hours. Wednesday walks are 3-5 km at a more social pace of an hour or more. If you are new to Singapore and our hot and humid climate, we highly recommend you try a Wednesday walk first!

Be prepared for your walk or hike with bottled water, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, an umbrella, comfortable walking shoes – and for jungle trails that can be muddy, wear appropriate footwear. Have emergency contact info with you and any medications that you might need. It’s best not to bring food on walks, particularly in the forest reserves where the monkeys will want some!

We arrange our walks via a members only WhatsApp group (renewed annually).

Schedule:

Mon and Thu: longer walks; Wed: shorter walks
