2012 AWA Foreign Tours
February 11-17 ~ India's Golden Triangle
India’s Golden Triangle comprises the three most visited cities in the country’s North West region; Delhi, Agra & Jaipur. On the map, these form a roughly equilateral triangle, which has been dubbed ‘golden’ for the extraordinary wealth of cultural and historical splendor on offer in each of the three cities we will visit. The Golden Triangle tour is a classic introduction to India that you won’t want to miss! For more information either click here or contact Constance Hsia.
**NEW** - April 15-19 ~ Vietnam - Hanoi & Halong Bay
Join us on this journey through one of South East Asia's most scenic destinations. We'll tour the busy streets and quaint shops of old Hanoi and stay in a grand colonial era hotel. This trip also includes a tour of Halong Bay, famous for hundreds of tiny limestone islands. Board your overnight cruise on an antique-style sampan boat and meander through the picturesque limestone karsts, visit a floating village, and stop by the magnificent Surprise Caves. Don't forget your cameras! For more information either click here or contact Constance Hsia.
**NEW** - May 20-25 ~ Nepal - Kathmandu & Pokhara
Nestled in the Himalayas and steeped in both Hindu and Tibetan ethnic traditions, Nepal has lured both cultural and adventure seekers. The capital of Kathmandu offers stunning ancient architecture and colorful bazaars with majestic snow-capped Himalayas in the backdrop. A short flight from Kathmandu is Pokhara, a lovely valley surrounded by the majestic Annapurna mountain range. Here you will stay at the renowned Tiger Tops Lodge and hike into local villages to experience the ancient mountain way of life. This trip is ideal for the traveler who prefers short treks, temple tours, and lots of great natural scenery! For more information either click here or contact Constance Hsia.
